Holy moly, did the fundraiser work! Come Friday, we went around to each school and collected the jugs of money. For the intermediate we asked who the individual winner was, which happened to be Mr. Nicholson. We kept each schools' jugs separate so we could get a clear winner. We got to the bank and they took the money to count. They deposited the money and gave us a check. The check was for $2,124.65! We surpassed our goal by over $1000. Brandywine did their own fundraiser and gave us a check for $160. The high school didn't produce any money, but we chalk that up to lack of communication. The high schoolers didn't seem to know what the jugs were for.
As for the pizzas, Mr. Hercamp said the school corporation would be able to pay for all of the pizzas. Mama Nita's even gave them a discount. We ordered 2 cheese and 2 pepperoni pizzas for each class. It totaled about 40 pizzas. We had the help off some friends in study hall that could deliver the pizzas for us. They picked up all except for one class's pizzas the week after the fundraiser ended and took them to each school. The one class had to wait till next week in order to have their party. We did not provide drinks and plates to the school. Totals of each school New Palestine Elementary - $406.32 Sugar Creek Elementary - $581.55 Brandywine - $160 New Palestine Intermediate - $493.66 New Palestine Junior High - $483.12 New Palestine High School - $0
