We were very ambitions in our aspirations for pitch day. We explained throughly what Imagination Library was in our Powerpoint. Along with a Powerpoint we made one sheets to help paraphrase what the Powerpoint was about. With the great success from the year before we thought we'd raise the bar a bit and try to go for $1000 this year. We made it a week long. The dates were September 17-21. This also happened to be the week of homecoming. Megan, Grace, and I decided that we would give water jugs as containers to hold the coins. We would give one jug for each grade in that particular school. At the end of the week we would pick up the jugs and take them to First Merchant Bank. The day itself had the mixed atmosphere of nerves and excitement. We finally got to present our idea that we worked so hard in coming up with. There was about 10 administrators in the room. We had to give each of them a one sheet of our presentation. When we were finally called up to the front of the room, we relaxed ourselves and had a great presentation. We spoke loud and clear and the feeling of nerves went away. We got through and got some great feedback from the administrators.
