We have finished with all of the lunches. Our last lunch was Lunch D and was catered by O'Charlies. They did an excellent job of providing a variety of food. They gave us two dishes of pasta, a tin of rolls, salad with dressing, bacon bits, and chicken, and two pies, one cherry and one apple. They did not give us silverware or knives to cut the pie. We also had to provide the water. Overall we made a little over $300 from 3 lunches. We had planned to make a lunch specifically for all of the teachers from Around the Corner Pub, but we decided to make that apart of a week long celebration for Teacher Appreciation Week. For that we are bringing in food each day of the week just for the teachers and the Pub will be one of them. Another one that we have already is the Cakehole.

After the first lunch, we have been in a lull. We have made calls and made trips out to Olive Garden, wings etc, O'Charlies, Chick-fil-A, and Qudoba. Everyday that we have picked are on block days so that we are able to attend the event and make sure that everything is running smoothly. We are alternating lunches so that each lunch has the same amount of days to eat. The days we picked are March 13, April 10 and 22, and May 2 and 15. We have O'Charlies signed up for April 22 for lunch D. We also have Olive Garden to come in for lunch B/C on March 13. We will pick up the food around 11. We have created an advertisement to try and attracted students to sign up. After the first lunch, things are really looking good. We had a total of eight people come eat lunch on the first Wednesday. We had Mama Nita's donate three pizzas but we had to buy a fourth because everyone ate so much. 32 miniature cupcakes was enough to satisfy everyone. We had to provide drinks, plates, and napkins but over all we made $80.
The Idea behind this project is to get restaurants to donate us food to then there for sell to the senior students of New Palestine High School. We have multiple dates selected for us to hold multiple events. We already have Mama Nita's, the Cake Hole, Olive Garden, and O'Charlie's on board with the project. We are still looking for other restaurants to help donate, restaurants like Chick-fil-A and Qudoba. Our first day is Wednesday, February 15th, and we will have Mama Nita's and the Cake Hole. We plan on giving out 10 to 15 tickets per event at $10 per ticket.
